What we collect

Everything comes from you, through the quote form. The form asks for:

• Name
• Company
• Email
• Phone
• Material
• Thickness
• Quantity
• Whether press braking is needed
• Number of bends
• Who supplies the material
• Requested completion date
• Part number or revision
• Whether a material certificate is required
• Collection or freight
• Delivery address
• Whether the job repeats
• Additional information
• How you found us (optional)

You can also attach drawings: DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, PDF or ZIP. Drawings are used only to price and make your part.

The DXF preview is drawn in your own browser. The file only reaches us when you press send — until then it has not left your machine.

The quote page carries Cloudflare's bot check, and it loads as soon as the page opens — not when you press send. So your browser contacts Cloudflare, and your IP address goes with it, while you are still only reading the page. It is used only to decide whether the sender is a person; it is not stored as part of the quote request.

Why we process it

For one thing: so we can price the job and carry it out if you order it. We do not use the data for marketing and we do not send a newsletter.

Legal basis

• Preparing and performing a contract, GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Producing a quote is pre-contractual, and once an order is placed the same details are needed to make the parts and invoice them.
• Legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f). If you ask us something and never order anything, the basis is our legitimate interest in answering the enquiry and keeping a record of what was agreed.

The data is not used for profiling or automated decision-making. A person works out the price.

Who receives the data

We do not sell or pass on your data. The site does rely on three services that process it on our behalf:

Cloudflare R2

The drawings you attach are stored in Cloudflare's R2 object storage in the EU. They are not sent as email attachments.

Resend

The form contents are delivered to us by email through Resend. The same service sends you the acknowledgement confirming the request arrived.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Checks that the sender is a person before the form is submitted. Without it the form would fill with spam. Turnstile does not follow you from site to site and is not an advertising tool.

Visitor numbers are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it sets no cookie and gives you no identifier, so you cannot be recognised or followed from site to site. All it reports is how many times pages were viewed and how quickly they loaded (Core Web Vitals) — not who visited. There is no Google Analytics on this site, no advertising networks and no advertising pixels. The fonts, too, are served from our own server, not from Google.

The map on the contact page is a Google embed and it loads with the page. Your browser therefore contacts Google, which receives your IP address, your browser identifier and the page you came from; Google may also set cookies, and the data may be processed outside the EU. We receive nothing about you from the map ourselves. If you would rather not load it, the address is printed as text underneath — and no other page on this site carries a map. Contact

How long we keep it

Attached drawings are deleted after 90 days. The same promise is printed next to the send button on the form, and it is kept: a drawing is a working file, not a document to archive.

Correspondence about a quote is kept for as long as running the customer relationship requires. Records of orders actually placed are kept for the period Finnish accounting law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• find out what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• have incorrect data corrected
• ask for your data to be erased
• ask us to restrict the processing
• object to processing based on legitimate interest
• receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable form and move it to another provider

Email info@laserpro.fi and we will handle it. We answer within a month. We may ask for further details to confirm who you are — we would rather not hand another company's drawings to the wrong person.

Right to complain

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, tell us first — that is the quickest route. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in Finland is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto (tietosuoja.fi).

Changes to this notice

If we start collecting something else or take a new service provider into use, this page is updated and the date above changes.
